1991 mustang 5.0. I just bought a new mallory regulator(fuel) adjustable from 30 to 100. I got the return line hooked up, and I got both of the inlet and outlet ports hooked up as well as my fuel guage hooked up. My question is if I disconnect the vacum line to my stock fuel pressure regulator will it allow my new mallory regulator to flow freely as it is adjusted to my needs( meaning anything from 30 to 100) or do I have to take the hole thing off and plug the opening up. And if I do has any one done this befor and how do I go about doing it.

ANYONE PLEASE!!

OK, and the question is how to install, or adjust pressure? To install, there are three bolts underneath the regulator. Remove these bolts, pull the old regulator off, and put the new one on. Use the new screws that most aftermarket regulators come with. Bam it's installed.
Setting the pressure, with the car running. Remove the vacuum line from the top of the regulator, adjust the fuel pressure to the desired psi, then reconnect the vacuum line to the FPR. Pretty simple!

my new adjustable regulator is not made to fit in place of the old one. It has its own mounting hardware to mount on my fire wall. So you see its not as easy as it sounds.
