Poser running around in an older prelude with no exhaust after the cat (or something. i didnt SEE any exhasut and it was annoyingly loud). He was driving like a bat outta hell so i lined up with him at some local lights. Dropped the hammer at 4k as usual and smoked him bad. And my tires are so bald, they act like slicks.

Chalk up another one. Unfortuantley, Rexanne is staying on the road until the 16'th, then she goes to sleep until next summer. Damn insurance.:frown:

it sure does, you pay them money so they can give you back money if you have an accident. But its such a fucking hassle to get any money for the smallest thing and your rate will go up, WTF ITS YOUR MONEY... insurance will be the demise of an industry...

aint it a bitch?? I figured it up: costs me $5 A DAY in insurance money alone to drive wiht no wrecks, no tickets and a 'good student discount' (:P I typed up a fake 'report card' and sent it to them. hehehe, I don't even go 2 school... i figger they cheat me out of mine so I can do it right back)

I wanna get a sex change just to save a few grand worth of insurance because 'girls drive better'. motherfuckers

i hate insurance too ... this is the reason people pull fraud is because if you are gonna spend 1k / year (or whatever it costs) you wanna see some sort of return on your investment :thefinger

Yeah. Its a bitch when i payed ~2100 for my car and they wanna charge me ~1800 a year. Rediculous! I probably WILL commit insurance fraud just so i don't see that money go to waste.

I swear, it should be a crime how much they extort us! and it IS extortion! "pay us this much money or else you cant drive" and "pay us this much money or guido breaks your kneecaps" sounds very similar to me.

Good kill. Do you own the turbocharged model? In any case, most of the newer ludes were nothing to be concerned about (I believe they stopped making them in 2001). I like the 93-96 models. Those were where the power was at.

Hehe, that's the awesome part, my 7 is n/a (and probably the reason it's still running at 117k miles) but it sounds like it has a turbo. No no, not one of those poser things, my tranny just whines so loud, i guess a fool could think its boost. I think i count as having the weirdest sounding car on AF. If i can figure out a way to record it and get it on the computer, i'll share it with everyone :)

I guess you dont really start appreciating insurance companies until you find your own ass being saved by one.

You're paying $1000-$3000 a year so that if you DO get in a wreck, the insurance company will spend up to a hundred times more to make everything back to normal. Imagine if you accidentally rear-ended a ferrari and the force of the impact pushed the ferrari into a porsche in front of it - thats one hell of a bill for someone to pay, even if you leave out medical stuff. Now imagine how much of that six figure repair bill you will be paying - probably no more than $10,000 if you include every insurance bill youve ever payed.

So if you think about it, having to pay $1000 a year is easily worth being covered for a possible $100,000 mistake.

but Fliquer.. you may only pay $10000, but your insurance would go up so much !! it'd be sick.. eventually you would pay it off... thats how they work.. you cough up lots of money off the start to pay for whatever accident upfront.. if it's worth more, then your insurance goes up enough to pay off in some amount of time.. so inless you plan to kill yourself after the accident, you didn't screw the insurance company :)

plus, if you did that much damage.. be certain the insurance company will find a way to weasle out of it..

You are also covered only up to a certain point, it varies by state.
