1967 L88 heads and stuff

Not sure if the is where to post this but here goes,
Testing the waters to see if anybody would be interested in some very nice high performance parts:

1- 427 4 bolt main block

427 L88/L89 107cc closed rectangle port heads (aluminum with the larger intake and exhaust valves)

L88 forged crank, cross drilled and chamfered

L88 Rods balanced set to the crank. (numbered for certain cylinders)

L88 12.5:1 forged pistons, needs new stock sized wrist pins unless you can polish them (humidity in storage rusted them) and the pistons need to be polished as well.

OEM oil pump

Stock rockers, aluminum rockers, L88 push rods, L88 Cam,
Everything basically to build the engine, just do not have lifters

Also I have a 1967 posi differential, and a 4 speed tranny.

Wouldnt it be advantageous for you were to assemble these parts and call it 'an L88 cloned engine ' instead of selling the parts seperately ?

Yes I have thought about going ahead and assembling this engine, But I figured most would want to assemble it themselves, if nothing else but for piece of mind,

And also this is no "L88 cloned engine" this is the real McCoy nothing in the list of parts are non L88 parts.
The Block was purchased for racing it is a total factory hi performance 1969 4 bolt main block.
The heads are from a 1967 L71 Corvette and the L89 heads, that were used on the L88's also. The rods, pistons, cam etc all L88 parts.

This was bought by my neighbor over 22 years ago for racing and never got a chance to complete the build, it has been in storage in his basement for that long. He has to move and let me have the motor.
I am going to sell the 2- complete '67 L71/L89 heads tri-power intake assemblies for him on ebay.

I think youll find that it still would be considered a 'cloned engine' since it isnt NEW and fully assembled in a specific L88 Vette from GM . It isnt original is what im getting at ; even though it might make the same power and have genuine GM components ... it would still be a clone to the original .

How did u end up with these parts ? Curious to know ?
