JL Audio 12W7

Has anyone heard a 12W7? Im trying to get some feedback on them. Theyre supposed to be the best sub on the market, but i cant find any reviews for them. THanks

i heard the 12w7 before and own a 10w7. i must say these are one of the best drivers out there. sound very very nice and has a bit more bottom end than my idmax. of course very comparable to the brahma, ED A-series etc.

so would you reccomend one? Is it worth the money, what else sounds as good?

if you can get it cheap and put it in a good box, then yes..i recommend it. make sure you have sufficient power because the amp is a SVC 3ohm sub. i would at least get a JL 1000/1 or an amp that does about 1200x1@2ohm?

Hows a kicker 500s? They stopped making them, but its a 2000 watt 2 channel amp.

what the info on the kicker 500s? i can't seem to find it on the net. til this day..the strongest amp kicker has put out was the kx1200.1 which puts out 1200.1. well i know there are a few other like that, but no amp that does 2kw with 2 channels. what the RMS on each channel?

Ill have to ask my friend, i could be confused (very likely).
