A dry system sprays just NOS into the manifold or other intake parts, while a wet system uses a twin nozzle set up and inject fuel along with NOS. The wet system will always be able to produce more power reliably. It also does not have to rely on your current fuel supply system to over come the lack of fuel delivery.
Dry systems are generally cheaper in price also.

the problem with wet systems is that you'll run leaner in cylinders closer to the intake and progresivelly richer in the other ones.....
there are some very good dry systems out there that will make sure you never lean out and you'll have a uniform mix in all cyl.....the best dry system by far is the venom 2000....a bit pricy though

It depends on the intake design. For the RB26, you are right.

I say go for a wet system for the RB. think about it. the cylinders are totally vertical! just spraying it in the manifold won't do too much, as compared with mixing it in with the fuel.

It si not the cylinder placement that is the problem, its the intake design. A wet system or a dry system will blow the #6 cylinder. Thats why if you put new injectors in your RB26 you shold always put the best flowing in #6.

if you absolutely want to do nitrous do it right the first time and go with direct port. it takes more knowledge and time but it's the safest I think. If I were you tho and I had an RB26DETT I wouldnt put nitrous on it because one problem happens and then you're out 7000.00...Just turbo upgrade the fu#k out of it and you will smoke anyone with nitrous or not! Imagine...No spray and you still smoke a guy shooting his spray hehehe, his face in the rear view mirror would look very satisfying :sunglasse
