My modified 1/18 Collection - 1

Dear Die-cast Enthusiasts,

I m a collector of 1/18 die-cast cars like all you do. I like to modify my cars. I m planning to create a web site to publish my cars. But I m so impatient to share my cars with all of you. so I decided to share some. I would highly appreciate receiving you comments.

Corvette is not stock. Its Bburago one.I have modified it.

Nice pictures of the Corvette. Could you tell us more about what you have done to it.

I am planning on getting a lot of my diecast together and taking a pic of them and placing them on here.

First, I started with lowering the car. I have added strut bacers for a better road cover. I changed the front brake disk with the air intake ones

I paint stripes on the car along with white wheels for a better combination.
I have added nitrous on the car. After modification of nitro, we need free flow... so I decided to put bigger exhaust pipes. Also add an extra speed watch.
Some interior paints... that s all I did to my Corvette.

I hope you have enjoyed my corvette. More ideas on the car will be appreciated.

my latest model is Mini Cooper.
first I lowered the car. Made a roll cage in it. Has got racing seat, free
flow exhaust (bigger pipe), sequential gear box, rear spoiler.
You may find a picture of it attached.

Dear dylpickle,

I have painted the stripes with a special paint pen. First I have stick around the car to have a straight line. After painting, I put thin black stripe stickers around white line. So the bad points disseapeared.

dude ur mini cooper is sweet. i have a beetle with a roll cage and two spoilers.how did u lower ur mini cooper?I would show u my beetle but i dont know how to put pics on and i dont know if my mom would let me use some film.:bloated:

As you replied the forum, you should have attach file menu on the reply section. You can attach photo from your pc to the forum but the size should be max. 100 KB. take care.

I made some body modifications to lower the car. It s a bit long procedure.

I also have Beetle racing here are some pics after modification.

I made body paint, lower the car a bit and changed the wheels with Beetle.
