audio system

I have put an audio system in my '96 Jeep Cherokee and was wandering what the noise ordinance is where I live. I cannot find the noise ordinance anywhere so I need some help.

in oregon it is 50 decibles(but who gives, when you have 2 12in sub thaqt you can hear from a mile away.

basically any noise that can be heard outside of the car is against the law in NM. or over 800 watts.
