Oil pressure guage install

If the guys who run this site read this, This place is the most packed forum I've ever been to! Keep this puppy smokin!!!

My 92 1.8L golf has been giving me an oil pressure warning. It is intermitant, happens only while decelerating from 3000 rpms. After I give it a shot of gas it goes away till the next time I'm decelerating.

My presumtions are:

Low oil viscosity
Faulty wiring

I thought it would be cool anyway, to see if I could hook up a oil pressure guage. Where do I attach the pressure line to the engine???

-Thanx

This is a possibility. Have you checked the level of your oil? If you are low, the oil can shift away from the pickup under decelleration in some cars, causing a drop in oil pressure. Worth a try, sometimes it's just a simple thing.
