I have maybe 6000 to put into a car overall
Im thinking: 240sx (91) for 2500 and engine swap with rest-
or
89 Supra Turbo for 1500 and then i have more to do an engine-but i duno what engine---(with 240 probably sliva)
Anyway what do you think would be better and faster (specifically for 1/4 mile but overall too)

the 240SX being a nissan product can take a crap load of engines and your choices are practicaly endless. now im not sure how much research you have done but the engine itself is only about 1/2 of the cost of the swap and any powerfull engine is going to run you 4,000 and up.
the supra turbo.... ok supra is a name NOW cus of the mass amounts of tizight systems that toyota put in to the engine starting in 1997. while the car itself is not without potential and modifying an engine that you allready have will definatly be cheeper although theres alot that would need to be done with a vehicle that old. you will need to rebuild your clutch(you would want a racing clutch anyways) probably want to get new springs and shocks and possibly some strut bars. the engine should probably undergo a complete rebuild and for that extra bit of preformance have the cilinders overbored by .02 or so. your gona want to port and polish it, replace or atleast rebuild the turbo, put on a preformance exaust reprogram any ECU or anything of the like on that engine. probably want to install a preformance alternator and get some iridium spark plugs aswell.
