Well while at the local meijher today I saw a color change kit in the home paint craft section however the cap (sample color) was way to metalic for small scale. Does anyone know of others with smaller metal chips or better yet no metal chips? I have seen models with some sort of fingernail polish that does solor change but had much more metalic as well...maybe others don't? Also being a male I think I would mail order this LOL

The metalic in the dupla color paint is kinda big but i dont look all that bad on a model.. But the very best bet is check out the nail polish section at meijers.. I forget who makes it but i think it is sally something but they have a whole new line of color swap nail polish.. They are really cool.. Take your wife/gf with ya though so people dont give ya crazy looks..lol.. Pick up some laquir thinner while your there and your ready to paint.. Thanks Rick

You could use Alclad II Lacquers. They have extremely fine pigment and no metal-flake. They have several kinds of color-changing paints available. The only downsides are that you must use a black basecoat (usually), and also Alclad is quite pricey. In addition to color-change paint, they make metallic colors like aluminum, steel, magnesium, chrome, etc. that are superb. www.alclad2.com
