I'll take more pics when we have daylight, this is slighly enhanced in photoshop due to poor lighting.
Base kit is Tamiya's Maxda RX7 R1
Mod's include Fujimi wheel conversion, SAS Rear Wing, SAS Brake Discs, Custom Bonnet using SAS 350Z bonnet scope, Fujimi Exhaust.
Painted Tamiya TS14 Black

Edit.......
More photos added now on page 3 of this thread or click here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?postid=1114548#post1114548)

p.s. are you undecided about the wheel color? one side looks to still be chrome the other gold plate?

Nice work! I was playing w/my Aoshima Bomex RX-7 over the weekend, thinking out loud if I should bash it w/the Tamiya R1 for engine detail. I've been itching to build one of these RX7's for about 10 years now!

And thankfully the rims on yours aren't gold!

Gold wheels....looked great for about 5 minutes in 1978... :icon16:
