R32 or r33

hi im considering buying a skyline soon and am wondering which you guys think is the better overall car. I am not that concerned with the stock 0-100 times and stuff like that caus i will be modding it :) .
Just any other things i should be aware of in the quality of the car, engine etc?

well, its totally depends on ur perference i guess..

if u are concerned about the quality, i reckon the lastest model would be better, however you are saying that you are gonna put some efforts on tune the car...then i would buy R32~

if you want a more powerful skyline I rather R33

I'd go for an R32. They're lighter than the R33 and look better too. My 2ltr R32 goes as good as an R33 2.5ltr.
Just so that you can weigh up your options.

It really is down to personal preference, particularly as far as the R32 GTSt and R33 GTS25t go. I like the look of the R33, and it's newer of course, so I went for that. There's really not much in it as far as performance goes. The R33 has a bit more power (standard) but is a bit heavier. I've read it's not quite so well-balanced and chuckable, but I can certainly attest to the handling still being really really nice :)

As far as the GTR goes. I say the R32 :) :) Lighter, and it's Godzilla!!!!!! Pretty much the same engine. However, the ATTESSA 4WD system got steadily refined from R32 - R33 - R34. Go the R32 GTR though!! :D

Another thing to consider is the R32 is getting old, though there are quite a few left in really good condition.
Myself I prefer the R32 due to its shape and over all design. I have been in moondog's R33 GTS25t and the ride is heaps more refined and seems to be a bit more confortable than my R32.

Doing up the power will always come down to how deep your pockets are. The R32 2 litre responds oh so well to upgrades. This is more often a result of the engine having a lower compression ratio. The trade off to that is it is also quite sluggish until you get up on boost. While the R33 with its slightly larger capacity and higher compression ratio will pull quiet happily from very low revs.

true, but higher revs are still much more fun :devil: Especially with only 5 psi until the bloody solenoid switches at 4500 :mad: :rolleyes: We gotta fix that, and soon! :devil: :ylsuper:

They are both great cars dude but no matter what we say it's all up to you!
33 has heaps more space on the inside if you intend on taking people around and yes it is also an earlier model! The 32 is lighter so I guess you should go by what's best for you!
When I got my 33 I knew it was the one I wanted, honestly dude have a look around and see what's out there!
