Attesa E-ts

In Initial D, Nakazato's R32 was equipped with the ATTESA E-TS system. Could anybody mind explaining to me what this is and how ot works?

It's not exactly full time AWD, its RWD and when you lose traction, ATTESA diverts power to the front wheels until you regain traction again. Thats pretty much what it does...you shouldve posted this in the Skyline forum btw
