OEM perma coat..

i dont know if i spell it right, but i been in detailing for a while. just recently people have been comming up to me and asking if they should do a permacoat on their car. a honda user said the coat lasts 5 years, wax and leather. lexus said it was lifetime.

honda is charging 500 bucks, and lexus is charging 900 for a one time application.

the lexus guy did it to his car and its smoother...but blah

what is this perma coat...cant i just wax the car with a sealer and such....and the interior leather...cant i use some mequires treatment of aloe and stuff? i doubt perma coat lasts for a year yet alone 5 years.
