Bad News

For those of you who have read my other thread about a 94 honda accord kit fitting an 88 celica. I have replied to emails of people asking about it and told everyone that I would post pics of it when it was done. Well thats not going to happen and here is why.... Its copied from an email i had sent to a friend so it may seem kinda choppy.


What happened was I had been lied to these 4 months that they “had” my car. What happened is. In the beginning the guy had told me that it would be a couple weeks till I got my car back, that was around March 20th I think. And then the time kept getting drug out. When I had called the guy from a friend’s phone in May or April, the guy had said that he had the body kit on, that he had to totally remold my car for it to fit but that my car looked great! And all it needed was to be primed and painted. Well after that he told me that he got kicked out of the one building he was in and had to move to another one. And said once he was able to start setting things up and once he got the paint booth up correctly, he would get all of his guys working on my car and it would be the first to be finished. And then I had found out the week before last that the guy skipped town and had my car locked up among other corvettes, Cadillac’s, and other expensive cars, in a storage building. But Tuesday or Wednesday I had found out that, the guy had gone bankrupt, parted out my car, and skipped town, the only thing I have left of anything is my neon lighting kit. I don’t have the $600 body kit or my spoiler that I bought, nothing of left of my car to keep. The shop that referred me to that guy and that took my car there has given me 4500 for everything. Cause my cars not worth what I paid for it anymore. If the guy wasn’t bankrupt I would sue him so bad.


Sorry to all the 4th gen owners that where wanting to see this. I have been both sad and angry. Specially everytime I see an older celica or see somthing that makes me think of my celica.

that really sucks but you shouldnt have left your car with him for so long.

i would have taken the car back within 5 minutes of the original time he said it would be done

that is one of the most fucked up things ive heard in a long time. if that happened to me i would so be blowing everything in sight up. anyway good luck from here on out.

Hahah I hear that. I just bought my 85 GTS.... Headlights arent working, but Im taking it to my buddys in 2 days and were gonna fix up what needs to be fixed (radio isn't installed, lights, out with the AC/Compressor, etc.) Also, I had some questions in a post a few down from this one (85 gts) can anyone help out please? if i were you i would still take his ass to court. bankrupt or not im sure there is a way to get some money outta that SOB. specially since he parted out ur car w/o ur permission and stuff. im sure that could be considered robbery in one way or another. :grinyes:

well i already got a settlement from the shop that refered me to the guy so I can't take him to court.

you actualy can sue the guy directly. youll need to gather a bit more of his info im sure the shop can give you his full name atleast. if they didnt charge him with fraud and theft its to late for you to file that. but you can take him for lost wages if it made it harder to get back fourth to work, and the biggest one is Emotional Damages. you prove that you loved the car so much and for it to be takin from you in such a way pains you seriously. you will win almost for sure just beacouse the guy is a cock and he should be in jail.
