Hey everyone, i decided to add a system to my car. Overall the system will cost about 1,500. For that im going to get (2) JL Audio 12W7 subs, a Kicker 500s amp (they stopped making them, but its at 2,000 watt amp, and my friend was running his components, as well as 4 JL Audio 12W0's from it), and the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Kit that includes 2 tweeters and two mids. Does this system sound like it will be good? IF anyone has heard any of the things that im putting in, please let me know how they sound, and if you reccomend something else. Thanks a lot.

Nothing wrong that I see. I'd say you're pretty much on the right track.

Only problem I see is running everything from one amp. That will limit your ability to fine tune your system. Not to mention buying used products voids the warranty, so after you mess it up and blow something - youll be out a system. Id suggest looking into buying everything new, that way you are protected should you decide to be foolish - or mess up something.

Well i decided on just one 12w7, from what i read that will be PLENTY. and that kicker 500 s will be just for the 12w7. Im going to get a 300 watt amp to run the tweeters and mids.

Im buying the kicker from a friend since its out of production. Its like a 2,000 watt amp. Im buying that for 450. As for the 12w7 and Kappas, im just going to order them online from somewhere.
