Should looks good the way you are building it. What kit is that? Did you mod a coupe into the convertible because it doesn't look like the kit came as a convertible.

CamaroSSBoy346

This is actually a slow build, Its been 3 days.

MIKE! WTF? A v6 single outlet exhaust? But.. i see what your doing. If its a performance single exhaust people that would wanna race it if it were real would think its a v6, and when you open up that can of pure USDA all-american LT1 whoopass on em they'd think again before running a single outlet exhaust camaro.

I can't quite figure out what mods you have done to that engine.. whats going on under the hood? don't tell me thats a stock engine I'm lookin at, cause it doesn't look like one. model looks really good, color makes the model look extra realistic.

CamaroSSBoy346
07-27-2003, 08:07 PM
Im thinking of doing a ricer exhaust. Pen muffler with a straw tip  But, no that engine isnt stock. I added on another pully, and belts. I put on a supercharger too. The big box is an aftercooler core. Basically an intercooler, but for a super charger. :icon16:

454SS
07-27-2003, 09:05 PM
NO RICER EXHAUST!!!!! If anything, how about a nice set of clean headers... and glue a muffler on the end of each for a nice short and somewhat loud exhaust.

okay, i still gotta paint the headlight housing black, put in a roll bar, and some touch up painting..

http://rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/image879.jpg
For the shifter, i used a sewing pin, with the ball on the end, and wrapped tape around it to make it look like its part of the shifter boot

http://rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/image878.jpg
Muffler fll off  and need to put the decals on the trunk.

CamaroSSBoy346

I got rid of all the stripes.. And paint is starting to chip off the corners of the hood.

Cool! You are a machine!
Did you use the spoiler from the Revell anniversary kit? Where did you get the supercharger from?

CamaroSSBoy346
07-28-2003, 12:33 PM
Yes, the spoiler is from the Revel 02 SS kit. The supercharger came from the Revell Saleen Mustang. The belts and pullies came from Revell's 78 Trans Am

454SS
07-28-2003, 02:04 PM
:wtf: :wtf: You put on 35th stripes then you take em off? Why? Oh you need to paint your shifter ball like silver or the body color.

Looking good, reminds me of a '93 Z28 I built almost 9 years ago. Almost exactly the same colour too! My '02 SS is going to be black 'cause I think it is going to look real good with the 35th stripes

CamaroSSBoy346
07-28-2003, 10:53 PM
http://www.afxnscaleresin.150m.com is where i got them from. They come in a 4 bolt 1:24 scale and a 5 bolt 1:25. The 4 bolt 1:24 wheels was speciffically designed for Revell's 93 Cobra, and convertable

07-29-2003, 06:45 PM
P-man.. thats how the car came stock. It sat higher in the front than the rear. If you want to correct it, put the rear end on the bottom of the springs, this will raise the back of it up in the air.

Sure was. However, I messed up the paint after I put the decal on so I had to make it into a street version. That was a nice kit though and I don't mind getting one if I ever see it again. BTW, the ride height looks OK to me and it sure reminds me of the Z28 I did
