I recently got a p-flow intake, but i have questions about the installation, actuially i can install it just fine, but i dont know what teh deal with the second tube running from the airbox to the motor is for. I know that it is running unfiltered air somewhere, but i dont know what it does, or what to do with it. the hose runs from the bottom of the air box. what do i do with it, and what does it do?

by the way, what do you guys get for gas mileage? i seem to get about 400 per tank will this change with hte intake?

yeah i have a 98 and i am havin the same problem i wanted to see if i could replace the box with a k&n air filter that was from a cold air intake for an s10 but i don't kno what to do with all those hoses. theres a hose that runs to the manifold cover and i was wonderin what that did. also theres a hose thats like 1" or 1 1/2" that runs to a compressor or impellor that is between the engine block and the radiator and wondered what that did and if that hosing could be moved around. no other car i have seen has had so many hoses runnin from the intake. does that all help lower emissions?
