Ebay

Hi all. I bought a car on Ebay that is in another state. I'm not worried about the car (it was checked out by a reputable mechanic), but I'm concerned about paying the individual BEFORE picking up the vehicle. The selling party wants the balance up front, and says he will then send me the title and deliver the car. He seems like an honest fellow, but what if I send him my money and then never get my car? Or what if he doesn't have the title?

Im no lawyer, but I would suggest some sort of contract. Talk to a lawyer to find out the legal implications of this.
