MY weekend project/s

Im thinhking about painting my dash trim this weekend..... that is if i can figure out how to take it off...... I plan on using that new krylon for plastics and then toppin it off with some krylon krystal clear-coat....is there any advice any of you can give me to maybe keep me from screwin it up??? I mean, is there any common problems i may run into.....
