First of 4 banger stang to 5.8L, what major components do i hafta change?

Secondly, a supercharger for a 5.8, where can i find them?

Thirdly, Where can i find a 5.8 for cheap?

Lastly, how much power can i get off of stock internals on a 5.8?

I've been into mustangs for a while, hell i own a 66 and was gonna drop in a bigger engine, but decided against it cause it's a classic and shouldn't be messed with. I also witnessed what a supercharged 5.0 can do to imports, and i like. Just wondering how a 5.8 supercharged would do.

Quick answers to your questions;

Everything.Every major and 90% of the minor components need to be changed.No big deal though.Get a donor 5.0 for all the suspension n'stuff

There's about 20 aftermarket blower manufacturers.Nothing factory.

Junkyard or Crown Vic/Truck donor.

Bone stock '85 truck motors can take about 450 hp.No more.Trust me.

To do it right,you'll need good machining,good,properly matched parts and dead-on assembly.Oh,and an Econoline full of cash.But when it's done,500-600 horses is not unreasonable,as long as you're not cheap

i have a 67 mustang with a 289... and about the 351, its a good engine, and can make a lot hp done right but you probley gonna wanna make it a little stronger, and with a turbo welll its turbo kind of importish no?

Apparently you haven't see what the PRO 5.0 cars have been doing? They have just implemented restrictions on turbo cars, cause they were getting to be to much for the other competitors. Turbo cars can make great efficient power, those guys were running 6.40's at 218-220 mph. How's that for an import thing?

About the turbo thing, the first twin turbo set up was for a 351W ;) it's not an import thing at all
