hi everyone, i'm new to the forum and this hobby. I started with 1/0 elec onraod r/c cars and looking into joning you guys in this hobby. when i realized that i was really in it for the bodies, i thought that scale models kits are much cheaper and offer tons of details and selection of cars. I've built a couple of kits way back in teh days, but nothing really detailed. My first kit hopfully will be a eg-6 honda civic. If not, i were settle with a ek-9 or a ep-3 civic. As you can see i'm part of the civic crowd, but only the JDM style civic's.
my Q about the corner lights has to do with converting the us spec civic into a JDM stlye civic. Could i just use tamiya acrylic paint (mini)? i have a couple of those left over from my gundam kits? And primer, will any house-hold primer work ok?
thanks

regular auto primer does suffice but i rarely use it--it's a bit thick allows my paint to chip easily. Are you referring to the side marker lights on the side fenders?
