need a new clutch

ok all i need to get a clutch. which ones have you tried and loved and which ones do you hate? i dont have too much $ to spend, around $400 for both a clutch and flywheel, i would like a lightend flywheel. this stuff is going into an 89 civic dx 1.5L.........oh btw will any other years parts fit my honda??? thx for the input!:feedback:

I don't know about other people's experiences, but when I was looking at light flywheels, the ones I saw were the cost of my new normal flywheel, disk and pressure plate. I got my stuff through a friend at a honda dealership (employees get everything at 10% above what dealership buys them for) and those and the throw-out bering were only $300.

As for a lighter flywheel, I don't have the resources redily available to check, but I think that the Si flywheels are lighter than the other civic flywheels. I don't know about this, but if it would fit into whatever civic you have it might be worth it if they are lighter.

si flywheel hua?...........can anyone else comfirm this? if so i just might have to go that route. thx.....
