Ahh, how cute! j/k Great job on this kit, I like the turbo as well (these don't come turbo do they? I though only supercharged) did you make the turbo yourself?

Ok question answering time.
The turbo is from a tamiya 300zx mounted on a Skyline GTR mainfold which was cut in half, with a plenum chamber made from sprue.
Also if you look underneath the airfilter, there is an alloy oil catch can.
The mirrors are fom the Hasegawa civic model, as that comes with standard mirrors or race ones.
The seats, exaust (muffler), turbo timer and steering wheel are from the fujimi muffler tune set. :bigthumb: (love that kit)

when I posted a completed model recently, hiroboy's comment to me was "A lot of work has gone into this one and it paid off." which was a nice compliment and I believe you deserve to hear as it holds true to this model you built.

I really like your engine bay. I hesitated to even look at this thread because I am not really into the cooper but I am surely glad I did. that little bit of orange peel in no way effects this way cool model you built and besides that little bit (orange peel) you pointed out it otherwise looks like a great finish you got there too. :bigthumb:

I've always wanted to own a real Mini, and if I found one like yours, I'd definetly buy it :biggrin: Just one tiny thing I think it's missing: the Union Jack..oh well :biggrin: It looks great, your effort really paid off..The turbo blends right in eheheh

Nice work, clean and tidy. Just not a fan of Mini's

love this little model, its tastefully tuned image looks perfect and the coulour is cool too. Only thing id say is the wheels look a little big- the springs would have to be made of concrete to stop those rubbers grinding away the wheel arches!
