The fan in my 99 tahoe will come on and blow on high for about 10-15 seconds randomly throughout the day (at least 5-10 times a day) when the car is off and the keys are out.....The dealer said this was "normal" and something about blowing the moisture out.... This is all good and well untill my brand new battery was dead the other day. Maybe I also have a haunted domelight  like alot of you other guys....but does anybody else have the blower coming on like mine? Thanks for your help.

I have a 2002 Tahoe with 41,160 miles. I Have some of the same problems, When I stopped for gas my heater was off. After shutting off the engine the heater blower came on. I turned on the engine again and tried to turn off the heater, but I was unable to trun it off, I shut off the engine and removed the key But the heater/ AC keep on running. I stopped at the dealer, at the time they were only able to remove the fuse for the HVAC blower. I was told I had to make a service appt. for next week. Now with the blower fuse removed I have NO heat and none of the controls for the heater or AC work at all. The A C is ON and blows COLD are out and I can not get it to stop. also my Rear defroster does NOT work......
Also I've had problems with the horn.... I have had to replace the horn fuse many times. I have had to hit the horn several times only to find out that I keep blowing the fuse. Anyone else having some of the same problems.... MY Appt. with the dealer is set for tomorrow morning March 4,2004, Lets see what they say....and how MUCH it cost me !!
