pass. door molding removal Q...

I am taking off that black plastic molding at the bottom of my door on my 89 CRX and i have it all taken off, does anyone know how to get that metal strip off that was under the molding and is screwed onto the door...is there a certain way to yank that sucker off, do i have to pull it a certain way, or do i have to go back behind the door panel to get to screws?? car anyone help me out?
