JDM CR-X siR turbo....

Ok guys I’ll soon be joining the Honda turbo fraternity, just wanted to get your thoughts on the setup I’ll running.

I have a 1991 CR-X siR (B16a) with a 10:1 compression. I’m getting the following:

Nissan Sunny (Pulsar) Gti-R spec Garrett T28 turbo
Custom Intercooler
550 injectors
HKS b16 turbo manifold
Baileys dump valve

Well those are the main bits, the fueling & engine management will be taken care of via Hondata as my mate already has the full system, and my car already has hondata stage 2.

Running on standard internals, I use my car as a daily driver and drive it fairly hard. What kind of boost would you guys recommend, I was thinking 6-7psi max and maybe higher for ¼ runs occasionally.

I chose to go with a smallish turbo to minimize turbo lag, what do you guys think?

sounds good but dont go past 10psi on stock internals tho.
should be loads of fun. i think the t-28 is a great size turbo for that size car and that little boost. you should be fine

Good choice on the turbo. That car should go with that engine and that turbo. You'll probably be running 12's and 6 psi. Few of my buddies have b16 with turbos in de CRXs. they fly. you'll be able to beat Z06 vettes and shit. your lucky!!!

AT 6PSI??

i doubt that not at 6psi maybe 16psi but not 6psi..
at 6psi i would expect high 13's noit 12's
