(OFF TOPIC) Sport Comact Car EVO vs Germans

First off let me get this straight. The Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition IS MY FAVORITE CAR. Having said that, you know I am not biased to the German cars in that test. But I believe that test was bullshit. They gave the Evo every benefit of the doubt, and even had a Vishnu modded one. I know they have a certain crowd to serve, but that was rediculous. They made repeated excuses for the Evo being beaten in any test. "It's hot out, so the turbo heat soak is making it slow". "But the Vishnu Evo VIII beat all competitors". The fact that the test was called "Speed for Green" is bull shit. Of course a $30,000 car with 5 sec 0-60 performance is a better deal than a $80,000 car with nearly the same. And having that Vishnu tuned Evo VIII was PURE BULLSHIT, of course any car with similar stock times will be faster when modded. They had a sorry ass comparison, just to make the Evo look good. Mod one of the other car with $4000, and see what happens when facing the $4000 in mods on the Vishnu EVO.

Ill be sending this to THEM as well. I love Japanese cars, and my favorite car is of the same lineage as the above mentioned, but it was BullShit:greddy2: :owned: :thumbsdow :nutkick: :wtf: :killbarne :bananadie :yugosmili :gay: :chair:

you gotta be kidding me. i h ave that issue and the evo owned them in every otehr category. it beat every other test car's lap time except for the 911 carrara 4S which is just one step down from the 911 turbo. and remember our evo 8 is not as fast as the euro and jspec evo 8 which has over 300 hp with a 6 speed tranny, that also weights less, and still the active differential, and yaw control. as soon as i saw the slow aceleration times. i automaticaly knew what was up. i knew that it must've been realy hot outside. if you've ever driven a turbo car in the summer compared to every other season. the car is very very slow compared to what it normally is. i would know. heh i refuse to race during the day time. i only race when its night and when it cools down alot.
