Just picked up a 90 EX with a no start. Checked fuel at the Banjo bolt and sprays plenty good when cranking. Pulled a wire with no spark at all. What would be my next course of action besides a manual? Thanks.

Get a Haynes repair manual, they're good for a whole lot of stuff.

Had same problem. Took the coil to autozone, had it checked and it was just outside of the specks. Couldn't believe it was bad because it was so close to specks (also, have the igniter checked at the zone too)! After a lot of head banging, bought a coil and installed it. Turned key and she fired right up! Suggest purchase a new coil from Honda though. Might cost more but if something should be burning the coil out at least you won't second guess that the new coil is faulty because it wasn't an original equipment part. Hope this helps, or for that matter hope you understand what i ment to say.

Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra dough to buy honda parts for this stuff.
The previous owner of my 90 EX decided to put in a cheap cap and rotor in and it fried the coil a few weeks after I purchased it.
Too my surprise, I learned honda's like to keep the coil inside of the distributor. No problem, it just makes a 2 minute job into a 15 minute job.

No...the coil is not in the distributor. The ignitor is in the distributor. Quite often no spark problems will look like a coil problem but the culprit is the ignitor.

Ummmm, unless your being way too overtechnical, yes the coil is in the distributor. It's not directly IN the distributor but it sits on top of the distributor housing, but is still contained within the distributor cap.
Please do not tell what part I reaplaced to get my spark back. It was the coil. Now that may not be the common item to cause a no spark with the honda's, but it was in my case.
