Engine swaps

Are there any feasible engine swaps for the Max?
I was thinking of something like a GTi-R or Bluebird or possibly the VQ35DE and turboing it. If any one has performed any of these please post your info here.

anyway. i doubt it's possible. maybe you could swap in a Vg30TT head from a 300zx and use that on a Vg maxima for boost. and i dunno what a gti-R engine is.

are you talking about the SR20DET from the bluebird??? If so, I wouldn't do that swap, only because even though the SR20 engine would be turboed and put out alot of horsepower, it doesn't have enough torque to get the heavy maxima rolling, you're better off with the VQ35 and turboing it.

I'm gonna forget about engine swaping for now and just stick with the powerful VG30DE and turbo it.
