Hi I have GMC sierra 1999 Z71 .. i want to to replace the battery But am worried about the stereo Code coz i don't have it.. Do i have to enter this code? however, i didn't set any security code before!

If theft loc is enabled once you unhook the battery the radio will most likely loc itsself. Just call the dealer and they will walk you through the steps to unlock it, the procedure is very simple, and only takes a few minuites.
The procedure usually consist of you
1 press and hold the station preset buttons 1 and 2 until a 3 digit code displays.
2 press and hold the am/fm button until a 3 digit code displays
3 call your dealer service dept and give them the code, they call AC Delco and get the code
4 they give you a four digit code and you enter it in like you would set the clock, them push am/fm and the power button a the radio will unlock.
