Odo- sometimes working/also for sale?

A two parter....Help, the odometer on my '84 944 has started acting up. It was working fine until last week, then went to working 1 day, then nothing, then working again. I took it into my mechanics, and of course it has now stopped totally. Anything that can be done vs replacing it? The speedo and tack work fine. I was thinking of selling, so maybe I'm getting some attitude. I love the car, but it just wasn't getting used much. I have had it for 10 years, and have all service records, even the original sales sticker. It was imported from Classic Porsche Sales in Nebraska. I would be willing to let it go for $7500/CDN (appraised at $9000), I am more interested that it goes to a good 'home' vs the price.

use it a few more years then fix the odometer, and sell it :biggrin:
