VL engine swap

Is it legal to put an rb20det or any other skyline engine in a vl commodore. What would the insurance cost me (Im an 18 year old) If i had the RB20det in my vl?

You would need to rock on down to the local cop shop, they should have the details.

I would guess because its modified and its got an engine as powerfull as a Skyline engine, the insurance will cost you a pretty big bundle.
