Twinkle toes

Recently, some friends of ours asked me and my girlfriend to go to a swing dancing club with them. I was semi-skeptical but I went because she really wanted to go...anyhow, it was crazy fun even though I barely knew how(learned for like 30 minutes earlier that day). Anyhow, we've started taking dance lessons now and it really is alot of fun. So far I've learned a little swing and I'm not too bad at the cha cha. :D So what do you guys think? Anyone else do any dancing?(not booty dancing or "raving", i mean real dancing) Maybe you think it's gay? Just interested to know if I'm alone on this one.

I'd love to learn most of the ballroom dances... :sunglasse

I learned swing a few years ago when Brian Setzer Orchestra and Cherry Poppin' Daddies were big. I remember a little bit of it, but I was much better then. I learned VERY basic ChaCha from figure skating. Um, I took ballet, jazz and tap as a weeeeeee lil tyke, but almost all of that has been forgotten.

i would kill to be good at swing dancing, but ESPECIALLY to be a good break dancer. that would kick ass...
