Heat shields

How do you fix heat shield rattling and is it safe to rip em off? (I know a few people who did that)

I just took mine off. If you get a custom exhaust of any sort there are no heat sheilds... just don't drive over tall grass. mine would rattle because rocks would get up inside of em.

you sure i can't catch fire to my car or any shit like that? are aftermarket exhausts safer or some shit/

i got no heat sheilds except for my cat ... and that rattles once in a while but not all the time like some other ones did ... tall grass is a concern with or without them.

heat shields suck :( always getting stones stuck in them and rattling like crazy :(
