I am looking at a 1996 GP. GT 4 door ,, and the Steering wheel controls for the radio are not working . Are these hard,, or expensive to have fixed,,, or a better word is repaired so they work ?? Might it be something that I could repair myself... Any thoughts on this,,,, or info,,, or where to find any info ?
Thanks everyone...

You can replace them.. pulling them out and getting the new ones connected might be another story. If I remember right, there really isn't a whole lot of wiring harness behind those buttons, so you've got to be really good with small tools to get it hooked back up.
Other than that, you'll be dealing with equipment around the airbag, so don't go taking too much stuff apart.

If it's an aftermarket radio on the car, the steering wheel controls wont work anyway.

Aftermarket will work "IF"you get a module to hook up to the controls.
