Merry Mayhem: Hartford Civic Center

Yep, me and 2 freinds are going to see Ozzy and Zombie on Dec 13'th!!! The only problem is that we got balcony seats ( i just ordered them todaystupid me :o ) And i was wondering If anyone knows the Hartford Civic Center (connecticut) well? would we be able to sneak out of our seats onto the floor?? i hope so :(



On other news, i just ordered that bass today too!! :D :D :D
IT should be here in a couple days, unfortuantley i cant do anything with it until X-mas...grr. And i dont have an Amp, not yet anyway. I have to get one of those soon, ill probably get one second had. Anyone know any good bass amps that arent really expensive (esp. used) ?

I actually don't think you'll be able to get onto the floor. They're pretty tight about that stuff at the Civic Center. Unfortunately, I can't make that show because I'm taking a long weekend with some college buddies to head down to Washington DC. You see, we booked the trip before the tour dates were announced! NARDS!!!

Although, to be honest, I only would want to go for one reason: MUDVAYNE. I know I've posted about them before, but their album LD 50 was such a surprise - it completely surpassed any and all expectations. I saw Ozzy this past August at the Meadows for Ozz-Fest (I got to Ozz-Fest too late to see Mudvayne), and from what I've heard, I'm not missing much with Zombie live. Sure he's got dancing girls and a great pyrotechnics show, but if the band isn't that good live, it's just not worth it to me - the extras are just that: extras, icing on the cake.

As for amps, you have to shop around, and try them on an individual basis. One brand to look for is Ampeg. They've made some good stuff. Remember, if you try one you like, pick that one up. Another amp, same model and manufacturer, will not be the same amp.
