2001 750il PROTECTION PACKAGE..need info

looking at 01 750il... the guy said it has the bmw Protection package..something about being bullit resistant and some other stuff.

Is there any info on this and how much more does it make the car weigh?

Alos how much slower does it make the car.

the protection does make the car a couple hundred pounds heavier, its good if u have alot of enemies:wink: , but the protection package features bullet-proof windows, the body chassis is surrounded by steel with a light titanium cover, it has run flats, and collision resisant body armour, and since theeres a bit xtra fat on the car, they boofed up the HP to 350hp-(compared to standard 750iL at 325 hp) and boof up the torque a bit to, but the protection aint good if u aint part of the mafia or sumthin, lol(laugh out loud)

As someone who drove Armored Mercedes for PSO duties in europe, if you dont need it, dont get it. It will ALWAYS feel heavier, and ours had proof glass not resistant, but we had one with resistant and i didnt like the look. Unless they have seriously improved things since then.

correction aussietech, its 760Li, and the new 760 doesnt have the protection package yet
