Look under the driver side dash along the steering column. Turn on the four way flasher and follow the clicking noise and locate the flasher unit. The one next to it is for the indicators. Good Luck.

The flasher unit might be clipped on to the right side of the steering column.

It is hard to find it, and to make it worse, they clipped it up to the left of the steering column and out of sight. You have seen the 4-way what it looks like, its the same kind tucked away.
I did an alternator on the same kind of vehicle this morning. If only I'd seen this message earlier. Keep looking. You'll find it.

I have a 95 LaSabre but this might help.
The turn signal flasher is clipped to the underside of the panel that the fuse box is contained on. After you remove the screws and pull the panel away from the steering column the flasher is located on the backside close to the reverse side of the fuses.
The emergency flasher is located up near the steering column on the driver side of the column.

I have replaced my bulbs and the same problem occurs. My right signal works. My left one does not. Any suggestions?

im not sure if this helps or not. my 85 has it behind the dash, to the right of the steering column. youll have to remove the lower dash panel to acces it, and on my car its clipped tot he dash support pillars. but its prolly not that... try this, pull the taillights and make sure the bulbs are TIGHTLY secured in the sockets. you kinda hafta push down on the bulb and turn it to get it to seat properly. my turn signals never worked right until i messed around with them. dont forget the fron signals too. if the bulbs arent in the sockets the right way, the lights wont flash as the signals are wired in serie instead of parallel.

I have a 93 and can't find the turn flasher also. When u refer to the panel, is it the big one that has the brake release on it, or the smaller panel closer to the brake pedal?

The Warning Flasher is clipped on the right side of stearing column, The Signal flasher is clipped on around fuse box area from inside.
For your left signal problem, check all light bulbs first front and rear, if all in working condition, change signal flasher, if still having the same problem, look under the hood near the front left headlight, there is a wire bundle attached to the frame where all front light wires merges into. jiggle that bundle around then test your signal, most probably it will solve it, for more detail repair, open the bundle and look for any shorts or wire damage.
