Holy Crap!!! I just got DSL today

this is amazing! i keep waiting for stuff to load then realize it already did! this is fucking awesome! sorry this is way off topic but pics come up so fast. had to brag:biggrin:

hehe yeah now i will spend more time modelling... like i dont spend enough already. i cant wait to download and finally see an Initial d episode! does anyone know which episodes have a 240sx? this is the car i own and want to see it in Anime action!!!!! and yeah, in New Orleans we didnt have DSL or Cable service until 2-months ago. this the stone-ages here!:icon16:

errrr.... sorry your right.... i was wondering which DVD episode has a 240sx on it so i can order it. actuallly please no one answer this question PLEASE very bad... got caught up in the excitement. i do except PM's and e-mails because i cant find DL's on AOL anyhow so i guess i have to get a DVD.:wink: sorry:biggrin2:

DSL is awesome, plus its more stable (IMO) than other services....

actually my friends tell me that they have had really bad experiences with the local cable server which is why i went the DSL route. Cox cable is a bad route to go if you live in the New Orleans Metro area.

DSL is better for online gaming....but cables a weeee bit faster.

Cable is a little faster, but when I had it, it was really sketchy, like it got kinda slow during busy hours and really fast at like 3am.... My DSL is always pretty fast, so I like stabilty a little more...

Agreed, it's such a great thing when going from 56 to cable-DSL.
I remember when I went on the first time ;-)

Luckily now I m using WIFI connected to cable, and I can recommend this to anybody with more then two pc 's at home, it's awesome!

Long life to 56K! Not really, I hate it, we could get hooked up on ADSL and pay the same price monthly as we are now for our cheap arse Telstra 56K deal, only 700mb limit. I'd love to get ADSL, Detroit Locker has it, lucky bastard! It's good to bludge off your friends fast internet though :bigthumb:

false... Cable acess time is way faster than DSL... Stability should be better on cable too since you don't need to "conect".

Maybe where you are, but here, the cable is always clogged up during peak hours and blacks out alot due to Oceanic Cable (iTs a company for Hawaii) problems.... And anyways, my computer is online whenever its powered on.. I only speak from experience... cause I'm not a computer geek and all, I'm sure that stuff variates in different areas, but thats how it is for me....

thats messed up. he's just trying to say he's qualified in this area. if I said the turbo on a Ferrari F40 is set to 14 PSI boost stock, you would believe me much easier if I said I used to work in marinello Italy building them wouldn't you?
