keyless entry not working

My keyless entry quit on me. At first I thought it was the remote because the clip that holds the battery in had brokeen lose and I had to resodder it. Then I put a new battery in it and tried too reprogram it. Didn't work. Then I found my spare remote and tried it. No luck. My question is where is the reciever in the vehicle and is it easy to replace? Plus can I find an aftermarket reciever somewhere so I dont get it from the dealership.

Drop your lower hush panel under the steering wheel you will see a little plastic box cliped to the panel that is your Keyless reciever.
