EDM B16A1 engine

OK guys, I am new to this forum, I hope you won't flame me away for my question ;)
But I own an EDM Civic '91 model equiped with the B16A1 engine.
Since this engine only produces 150 hp over here, compared to the 160 JDM version, I was thinking where this difference could be.
I searched this board and came to the following conclusion:
- The EDM B16A1 got a CR of 10,2:1 compared to the 10,4 of the JDM version.
- The chip is different.
For all the rest I couldn't find ANY real things which are totally different. I don't think a 0,2 increase in compression and a different chip can make such a big difference in hp.
What I want to ask is, is there a way to get 160 hp like the JDM B16A1/EDM B16A2 or even 170 hp like the JDM B16A version out of this engine with no aftermarket parts, only OEM parts???
I was thinking the following things could be different as well:
- Header (diameter?)
- Exhaust (catalatic converter and diameter?)
- Head design
- Cam profiles
- Valves
- Intake manifold
- Trottle Body
Can anyone give me a clear answer on this???
So what if I fit a JDM header together with JDM intake manifold etc, will this give me 170 hp out of my EDM B16A1, or are there some other things in the engine itself different as well???
Soon I want to bore out the throttle body, buy a JDM DC-Sports header (2,5" natural asparited, is this ok for daily driving?)... exhaust front to rear and maybe even CTR cams.
But first I want to know what the differences are of the different engines itself before I go modifying...

I believe the cam profiles are slightly different but the overall headflow is the same. Compression is a big part in the difference. The ECU is no different except for the non OBD to OBDII switch. As far as trying to match the hp why not just work to get more? Forget about swapping the manifolds and just get TypeR ones.

I have a JDM B16A 1st gen w/ 150hp (because it came w/auto tranny) and I asked the same question to an expert and here are some stuff I have to change to make 165-170hp ( every part must be from a JDM B16A 2nd gen)
1. Throttle Body
2. Intake Manifold
3. Cams
4. Cam gears
5. valve springs
6. P30 Pistons
just think about it, I think you could get all that stuff for 800-900 bucks.

OK thnx for the input guys!
So the head design etc is the same, this would mean if I exchange some parts, like fitting type R manifold and cams etc I would have the same hp as the "non-type R" 170 hp JDM version equiped with those parts? Since you say (except for the compression) the engine itself is the same.
This would be nice...
I do want to put some work in the engine, but it is used for daily driving, so I don't want to go too mad. Like I said I want to fit type R cams, type R springs, maybe titanium retainers, bored throttle body, DC header, total exhaust and aftermarket chip. But I will leave CR, pistons etc stock! To be honest I don't want to change anything below the cams. Also no porting/polishing.
This would mean a hp rating of around 175 hp should be possible with those parts?
Do you also know where to buy type R manifold? I also wonder what is different between the B16A1 manifold and the type R. I can also modify/polish my current intake manifold, or is the design totally different?
thnx again!

Type R engines are all made of amazing details, I can't even compare a full polished intake manifold from a B16A against a Type R intake, I've seen a lot of Type R parts for sale on ebay, just be very careful who are you buying.
