Long Waited INFO: Power Windows from 4DR

ok, as far as the power window kit from the 4dr is concerned it does work, but some mods have to be done.

the window regulator at the bottom of the 4dr units must be changed to the HB ones, just drill out the rivet and slide the rails off.

when placing the power units into the HB, you are going to have to play around with it for awhile, and a few of the existing holes must be slightly enlargened.

this rocks more than anything ive read lately. mostly because i havent wrapped my door panels yet, and was thinking about doing power windows, but didnt wanna have to cut the hole for the window crank, and then later down the road make some kinda cap for the hole once the power regulators are in.

Nice mod - I still cant believe you didn't get power windows in your 4Gens though - man that must suck :(

i dont miss mine, the fucking things never worked very well, the windows would work so slowly, i oiled the rubbers all the time too so it would slide better i think the motors were fuct

they decided to only give power windows to the big ballers in the us :biggrin2:

yea my windows I can press the switches all at the same time, but they all go down at different times..oh well :biggrin:
