help with som info

I HAVE A QUESTION MY THIRD GEAR GRINDS EVEN WHEN I PUSH THE CLUTCH ALL THE WAY IN WHATS WRONG WITH MY TRANNY AND HOW DO I FIX IT? ALL YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED

i'm thinkin u need a new tranny or go the expensive route and get it rebuilt.......not too sure if u can swap gears out of another tranny....but u can pick up a tranny for about $150 which isn't too shabby:bigthumb:

do you know exactly whats wring with the tranny and why it started doing that?

does it grind just normally shifting? or when speed shifting? i know when i speed shift into 2nd it grinds, only because i need more fluid

speed shifting is when u slam the shifter around really fast so u dont loose too much speed as in normal shifting... usually when u race u speed shift. i've done it before tho and once and awhile it grinds going into 2nd but i dont pay too much attention to it cuz i dont do it alot

sounds like the syncromesh gone to me, u can get them changed or just change the tranny
