nah he has a chiltons and that shit didnt help at all .... the whole reason we wanna do this is cuase he got a ticket for the drivers side window bein tinted ... and york2600 has a 94 civic ex coupe so we are gonna swap windows ... take sublimewls'es car in and get it signed off ... then swap em back :bigthumb:
i think york might have a haynes so we will check that also .... but if one of yall could post the page out of a helms or some shit that would be coo :bigthumb:

You need to take off the door panel, you might have to pull off the weather strip, but that just pulls of and push it to get it back on. The window is held in by 2 bolts (maybe more, but it doesnt matter). The bolts are in the track, facing the inside, you may need to roll up the window a bit to get at the bolts. The glass comes out from the top of the window, and goes in the same way. It is really easy, and doesnt require and real skill.
Just an after thought, if you dont have power windows, you will need to take off the door crank, which you can do by gently pressing a flat screwdriver against the door panel so you can see what you are doing, and then press on the U shaped silver metal clip that holds on the handle. There is a tool for this, but I have always been able to do it with a screwdriver.

It so nice to learn that I'm donating my window from reading a post. Who said I was giving up a window?

i went over to yorks today and the b20/vtec motor should be done by next friday    and hopefully swapped into the GSR pretty soon ... hes been laggin on this project and I wanna see that beast run ... gotta break it in for a while but im still gettin pretty excited.
Anyways, back on topic, the 94 civic is being given to his sister and it was at meirs garage bein checked out ... and i highly doubt they are gonna let us borrow the window so i guess just get that shit untinted and deal with it.

The beast is in getting the "safety check" and the AC fixed. I guess there was blocked valve. Something like that.
