Couple of questions

New to a 740IL - I just had a service II performed cost around 740.00 , while the car was in the dealer I also had the tires replaced with Continental Touring 235/60R16 CH95. I am getting a serious vibration at around 50-70 miles per hour - goes away at higher speeds. Any ideas?

Also I know this may sound stupid but how do I tell if I have Xenon headlights?

Vibration most likely either a bad tire, out of balance tire, or bent wheel rim. Have them removed, placed on a computer balancer, and checked carefully.

Your driving a new BMW 740i...
thats gotta be one of the kewlest cars ever.
And to answer your question,
You've got HID's
( High Intensity Discharge )
and they actually focus on the road ahead of you!

Not all 740s came with Xenons it was an option until 2001. If you have HID low beams, you will see the color of the loght at night is whiter (more toward blue) than the high beams, you also can look under the hood and you should have a large cable at the back of the low beam lamp that runs to a box (aluminum) mounted below the headlight housings.
