Crazy/stupid things u did in your car

i've done many a stupid things in my car but yesterday was the first time in a while. wasn't all that exciting but it was fun.

while i was in Raileigh this weekend i was going down Brentwood Rd. and they had a problem with people speeding thru the residential area so te put in these big speed bumps. first they were these big plastic ones then i guess they just went ahead and put asphalt ones in. now i'm talkin about the kind of speed bumps that u have to slow down, go up, across, and then back down. well i was like "i wanna jusp one of these, but my car's too low" (i usually creep over them) well the music made do it. i was listening to Primus and us went for it...:lol2: i don't know how fast i was goin but i went airbone:uhoh: and came down hard:grinyes: that was fun...i wanted to do it again, but i was in a residential area and there were cars in front me b/c i slowed to have enough distance.....but that was fun:thumbsup:

haha if i ever wanna do shit like that i call up my buddy w/ his pickup and just ride w/ him so i don't gotta mess up my car, lol. :bigthumb:

craziest thing i've done.... tons of burnouts on one road.... (that road is mine now.. i've claimed it) :biggrin: :bigthumb: and yesterday when i got that drift when i took a sharp turn at 60, got the car around by accident and almost lost it, woulda been cool if after the drift i just went on my way and continued driving but nope! the damn thing had 2 swerve lol

hmmm...stupid things.. let me think..yesteday, 100 in a 55.... two tickets and $800 later :(

oh... that reminds me marked... i've done 150 in a 100.... (highway) fastest i've pushed this car with 3 other ppl in the car

and i've done like 120 in 50 zones and stuff, but i've decided i'm gonna slow down now...

yeah..unfortunately, its been awhile and I've been pushing my luck... but $800 is a little outrageous..espcially when I'm completely broke...

Actually, after reading about your speed-bump incident, reminds me of my first car. It was an 84 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra that my sister had thrashed on pretty hard before I had it, and I continued the tradition of doing so.

Anyways, there was this park by my parents house that I always drove through because it was a nice shortcut. It was like a 2 mile long road straight through the park. Anyways, they had these monstrous speed bumps, and the posted limit was like 20 all the way through. Well, I discovered that due to the height and width of the speedbumps and the responsiveness (or lack thereof) of my suspension, I could hit the speedbumps at about 47mph, and the car would just glide over them. Wouldn't feel a thing.

Found out the hard way that it didn't work in any other car... at least not at that speed.

the stupidest thing i ever did in a car would have to be when i was younger driving my moms 2000 civic 4 door. I did dukes of hazard over a curb that was like 1.5' tall (no exageration) in a parking lot. caused about $1600cdn damage.

well theres a road around here called the number one side road, its in burlington and its all butterfly hills right, and im driving my buddies accord(and he would push it at 140 km/h or so and it was fast) but he was all drunk one day and wanted me to push it so i took it at like 160 -170 and got completley air born, and when we landed it bottomed out real freakin hard, he was standing out the sunroof and he said he could se all sorts of sparks and crap out the back, oh but know its all video survallanced, and thats no fun

well one time me and this one girl I met....no....wait I mean...uh...really wouldnt call it stupid..but would rather call it fun when i first got my car me and my friend went cruising on all these old country roads, and mind you he's a good 245lbs..and that aint becuase he's tall or muscular..he's just fat....well we on this one road we were on i was driving the speedlimit went over a crazy hill..one of those that you can get air on..did a u turn and went back a good ways..turned around again and just floored it...i must of been going 110 came up to the hill i was airborn for a good 10 seconds, when the car landed the tires squeaked, bottomed out saw a giant flash from my rear view mirror...holy hell it was fun..did it again the next day :biggrin:

i've never done anything drastically stupid...just the same ol' teenage retarded crap...like chineses fire drills @ stoplights....oh yeah the greatest thing ever...when you get to a red light, and the car next to you has thier window rolled down....wait until the light turns green, and when they start to pull of scream at the top of your lungs in the most horrifying voice possible "OH MY GOD!!!"...so they slam on the brakes...it's halarious to see some people's reaction...did it to a guy on the phone once...he threw down the phone and chased after me for about 1 1/2 miles...:lol: :lol: :lol:

I've done plenty of stupid things when I was in highschool, but one of my brighter moves, involved a single lane dirt logging/camp road through a state park in the Adirondacks in upstate NY. I had just gotten into rally racing, and I was headed to a party in the middle of no where. I was driving down this road with a friend of mine following in his probe, without trying I started to lose him, when I see him coming strong up behind me, so I decide to press it, pushing a little over 70 at times (not safe, the road is pretty twisty, with blind sections all over, I was flipping my headlights off and on near corners to see any possible light from behicles coming at me around the bends) well, apparently he knew the road better than I did, because suddenly he backs off and I see the road dissapearing in front of me, theres a near 90 degree right turn, I manage to slow down and fly around the corner, sliding a good portion of the way, but the car goes crooked as I come out, so I correct and get it straight, and then just as my heart starts to relax the car jerks hard left right into and embankment head first, I end up flipping end over end and coming down hard on my roof in the woods. Found out after I apparently pulled a tire off the rim and thats why she jerked on me at the end. Needless to say the car was destroyed, and I shattered my hand taking my frustration out on my newly aquired scrap pile.

i am so doin that next time i see some bitch on a damn cell phone at the traffic light ... these damn people need to hang up and drive.

Stupidest thing I've ever done: It was dark outside you couldn't see anything really. I was coming off the freeway and I rolled through a stop sign b/c no one was coming(except a car a long ass ways away), turns out it was a cop and he gave me a ticket. I got my license taken away for 3 months and It's still suspended, get it back Aug 28!!!! I will never run a stop sign again(in front of a cop)

i pulled up the handbrake going around a roundabout , lost the back end and nearly got t-boned by my buddy who was following, i ended up pointing in the wrong direction up a bypass road lol

went up a bank after pulling up the handbrake when i was going around a wet greasy corner ended up with my alloys filled with mud lol

reversed into my driveway really quick when i was in a mood one night, and backed into the gates lol,

thats all i can think of at the mo

We have a big lake here, it's called Smith mountain lake, it's the largest man made lake in the US. It's like 65 miles of shoreline takes an hour and a half in a boat to get from one side to the damn, doing about 40.

Anyway I live like 1 minute from the boat dock, so all my friends live on the lake, so they're all rich and shit, anyway one of them has a 2002 911 cabriolet, non-turbo. I decided I would follow him down this old crooked road that folows the side of the lake. Well as it turns out the two other people in my car through it off balance and as we were doing 80-90 something around this long sweeping turn the back end got a little light and I slid sideways through someguys yard and missed the lake by about 10 ft.

efstali, 10 seconds? do you know how long that is? c'mon now....

After playing around doing donuts in a snowy parking lot, I wondered what would happen if I pulled up the e-brake at 50mph. It was a long parking lot, and there were light poles with big cement bottoms down the center. My car slowly started to slide towards them, so rather than hit them, I made sure to get on that side in between... The only problem was I couldn't stop moving over, and I ended up slamming my left front wheel into the curb at ~45mph. Damage: $1600

Apparently I didn't learn that parking lots + the friend that was with me the first time don't mix. A few years later at a Taco Bell parking lot I decided to do circles around a light pole. Got up to 35mph, and the tires startes to squeal. Was about to stop, but my friend said I could exit on a different road. I figured I could just go around another 90 degrees, but my car only wanted to turn 45. Slammed the right front wheel into a curb at 35mph. It was turned all the way, pushed it into the back of my wheel well, dented the body. Damage: $3200

At least the second curb pushed my right wheel back to match my left wheel. Now at least my car doesn't pull to the left. ;)

They just installed these weird speed ramp things at UR. It's like a 8-10" high red tile sidewalk that goes across the road with these cement ramps on each side that just make a straight angle from the road to the sidewalk. I had four people in my car, and wanted to see how fast I could go over them at. At 25mph it was really fun, you're stomach got that wheeeee! feeling in it, and it didn't sound too bad for the car. I thought that was so cool so later I went back with one friend in the car, and hit it at 30mph. Everything got quiet as the car went airborne. All I could think was "Oh Shit!" and then BAM! my shocks hit the end of their travel. Luckily no sparks.

People thought I was crazy for paying the money to fix it, but I just love that car so damn much. I'm starting to get blue smoke if I get the rpms up there, that's not a good sign...

thinking i actually had hardcore rally driving skills on a dirt road and almost wrapping my car around a tree
taking 5 drunk people including 2 girls to a 7-11 at 2 in the morning in my CRX
doing a e-brake slide in to a puddle which turn out to be 2ft deep( but you shoulda seen the tidal wave it made!)
drive to los angeles from salt lake city during August without AC
not having a good excuse for going 115 mph when the UT HP pulled me over

Racing ricers through intersections that have cameras

Going 120-130 in a 55 zone downhill (yes, lost control, yes, the car is still in 1 piece luckily, and w/o scratch)

Managing to elude a city cop (I had no license plates yet wOOt!)


Stupid stuff I did in it:

While waxing I needed to backup a little, so I pushed in the clutch, letting the car roll back, while the door is open...into my fence. $2500 damage insurance paid (thankfully)

Drove off a curb, bottoming out (it was night w/o lights around, and I didn't see it :cwm27: )

Trying to do better e-braking 180s than my friend's old f-150

stupidest thing that ive done??? hmmm...too many to say so ill just say the most recent...

I was goin pretty fast on the "windy roads".... it was raining... posted speedlimit.. 35...turn speed limit 15.... took the turn at 50...ended up hitting a nice wall of dirt...luckily the dirt was soft...so my car ended up being just fine.... phew lucky me..i just had to wash it...which i didnt really have to do because the rain did it for me :smile: but ya thats the most recent "stupidest thing ive done". :iceslolan

haven't done too many stupid things in my civic.

in my tempo i did some things:

dozed off and went into a ditch at 70mph

sped to school through my neighborhood (about 40 or 50 in a 30) while it was wet, lost control, and slid right into someone's driveway, stopping just before their garage door

backed up into some dude's truck door causing $1000 in repairs (which i paid nothing of b/c he was 15 with no license or insurance :))

slightly side swiped my friend's camaro


in both cars i've done tons of burn outs and e-brake turns. also gotten 10 tickets and a couple warnings. all in just over 3 years of driving by myself

prolly one of the stupdiest things i did, was throwing my crx into reverse going about 40mph, i was trying to stop fast cuz my friend had just crashed his car in front of me into a forest, in my mind i thought i had already stopped and tried to put it into park.

well 2 axles, a new tranny, and various other parts later, i was good.

ah might as well add some stuff here too cuz i've been doin alot of stupid shit lately hehe, tons of burnouts, speeding badly.... 170 in 100 zones, 80 in a 50, got pulled over for doing 80 in a 50 but talked my way outta it hehe :D
and lots of e-brake slides hehe :D:D:D
