Air Bag warning light

I've passed down my beloved 1993 2.0L Probe to my little sister..she's been enjoying the car since 2001, but is now getting a flashing "Air Bag" warning light on the dash.

From what she's told me, it's a flashing light--flashes at least twice, then is off for a few seconds, then flashes again for as long as the car is running. Does anyone have any experiences with diagnosis, potential fixes, and the bottom line of problems with the Air Bag sensors and this warning light? Thanks.

As sad and pathetic this sounds, Please, Take it to a Ford dealership.

There is probably a failure/fault in the Airbag system, which means in an accident it may not deploy, deploy accidentally or just burn you with it's propellant gas. My dad is a paramedi (I think in America u call them EMT's) and he picks up loads of people who have accidents with airbags. Don't fix it yourself!.

I also have a 1993 Ford Probe and my air bag light does the same thing, it will flash once or twice then go off then flash again as long as the car is running. I havent looked into it much but I would think if it's an Airbag Failure/Malfunction the light would stay on all the time. Maybe its just something to go in and get emitions checked. Anyways if anyone has fixed this problem It would be helpful because it gets annoying.

As stated in upper post.
Them things can kill/injure you in a split second.
Just like a loaded shot gun shell.
Unless you are trained on air bag repair let someone that is do it.
