Hi,
I am currently just about ready to bolt my LX tranny into my new D16A6 Si engine.
I still have to buy the clutch alignment tool which is only $1.99
But someone told me that I should replace the throwout bearing and pilot bearing while its easy access.
When I drove my tranny I always had trouble getting into 2nd gear it sometimes would go really hard.
Is this because of the throwout bearing?
If so how much as they usually and how easy are they to install?
Thanks

You need to replace the throw out bering, its REALLY easy, just make sure you use a higher temp grease and grease the hell out of it when putting it in. And they don't cost that much, especially compared to having to do it over again.
