Wheres the fuel filter!

Hey all

I have the aussie 1989 Dual Carb GL civic.

I am trying to replace my fuel filter but I cant find it!!!

Its not just before the pump where i thought it would be... It not inside the firewall is it??? Or near the full tank???

Im totally puzzled.. the little bugger doesnt look to be n e where in the engine bay

should be on the right(pass) side firewall

Looks like a little black can with two fuel tubes coming out of it, and a little bracket holding it to the fire wall.

And I always had trouble getting that damned banjo bolt off of the thing. So be prepaired.

So here it would be on the drivers side... and its on the outside firewall?>?

I swear the fuel lines went from the pump staright into the firewall

Yes... for right hand drive vehicles it would be on the drivers side, in the engine compartment.
